Queasy Riders

A couple of weeks ago I bumped into Ian, a fellow dad at my son’s primary school, who likes his cycling and I told him about the whole Paris ride thing and how we should really organise a training ride at some point. Somehow, in all of the excitement, I lost control of this conversation and before I knew it I’d signed up for the Brighton to Brighton Cyclosportive to do the 87 mile Challenge route with him and his mate Dave. ‘You’re probably fitter than the two of us!’ he joshed, forgetting to mention they had already done a few of this type of event already this year.
